Julia B. Colwell, Ph.D.,
is a licensed psychologist. (She especially appreciates
the focus of the word "psychologist" on
the study of the "psyche," which comes from
the Greek for "breath, spirit, soul, mind.")
She has been in practice since 1988, working with
individuals, couples and organizations. She founded
"Enhancing the Dance" in 1995. At that point,
the focus was on supporting relationships in the LGBT
community. As times changed, the workshops became
increasingly inclusive to all, so that, in 2007, it
was clear to her (and others) that it was time to
change the name. Thus, the Boulder Center for Conscious
Living was born.
Julie has long been affiliated with the Hendricks
Institute, training and using her version of their
powerful materials since 1992. She has lectured, taught,
and written extensively about creating healthy, co-creative
relationships. Her long-term intention of "creating
conscious community" in Boulder has been about
having many more playmates in this work of higher
consciousness.

Kathryn M. Kucsan, Ph.D.,
is a writer, educator and musician with twenty-eight
years of experience teaching and performing. She is
an Apprentice Graduate of the Hendricks Institute,
and is also a Living University Faculty member. Kathy
is the co-founder and served as the Education/Artistic
Director of the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical
Arts, where she is now on the Honorary Board of Advisors.
She is the founder of Integrity Arts, LLC, providing
consultation, coaching, and grant-writing services
for artists and arts organizations.
TOGETHER, Julie and Kathy have taught
and coached individuals, couples, and organizations.
They are warm, engaging, and good-humored as they
hold the vision of creating conscious, co-creative
community through relationships of mutual respect
and empowerment.
Deborah J. Kenyon, MA, NCMT,
is a body-mind vibrance relationship coach, body worker,
teacher, and musician. As an Apprentice Graduate of
the Hendricks Institute for Conscious Living, Deb
is continually synthesizing her work and passions
in new and playful ways. She is pleased to join Julie
and Kathy in facilitating workshops and classes that
support conscious relationships in our community.
